Azerbaijan is one of the exemplary countries in the fight against the problem of refugees and IDPs, the Assistant High Commissioner for Protection at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Ruvendrini Menikdiwela, who is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the 11th Global Baku Forum, told a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Report informs.
Menikdiwela pointed out that the UNHCR is ready to provide possible support within the framework of the return of IDPs in the current post-conflict period.
