Ukraine's popular diplomatic magazine dedicates next edition to Ilham Aliyev

A presentation of a special issue of the well-known magazine "Kyiv Diplomatic" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of President Ilham Aliyev was held in the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko in Ukraine.

According to the Report's Eastern Europe bureau, the project was initiated by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine with the support of SOCAR Energy Ukraine.

The presentation was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps of different countries in Kyiv, government officials, public figures and diaspora activists.

Third Secretary of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine, Tarana Sadigova, opened the event and informed the participants about the project.

Thus, the cover of the new edition of the magazine contains the portrait of President Ilham Aliyev, on which there is written a statement "Azerbaijan pursues a completely independent domestic and foreign policy, effectively neutralize all attempts to interfere in its internal affairs" voiced by him at the opening of the High-Level Commemorative Meeting to mark the 60th Anniversary of the NAM in Belgrade, Serbia, on October 11.

Kamal Khalilov, Chargé d'Affaires of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine, spoke about the importance of the article, noting that the growing international prestige of the modern Azerbaijani state, founded by great leader Heydar Aliyev, is the result of the political will of incumbent President Ilham Aliyev.

Rostislav Karandeev, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine, shared his views on the article, noting that the Azerbaijani state and its leader are sympathetic not only to Azerbaijanis around the world but also to many nations, including the Ukrainian community.

Oleksandr Kondarenko, Editor-in-Chief of Kyiv Diplomatic magazine, presented a portrait photograph of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the embassy.

Speaking about Azerbaijan's growing international prestige over the past year under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, other speakers, including Dmitry Stus, Director General of the Taras Shevchenka National Museum, Vladimir Boechko, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Hazi Aslanov, Deputy Executive Director of SOCAR Energy Ukraine, and others, expressed confidence that the article would be of great interest to a broad audience. This edition of the magazine aroused great interest among the participants.
