Ukraine is grateful to the people of Azerbaijan for support, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladyslav Kanevskyi told a press conference.
He said the world community provides comprehensive support to Ukraine.
"Yesterday and today, very many calls come from Azerbaijani citizens supporting Ukraine. People bring flowers to the embassy in memory of those dead. On this occasion, I want to thank the people of Azerbaijan for support," the ambassador said.
The ambassador noted that the Ukrainian side expects the official position of Azerbaijan. "There is a position voiced by country's officials at the events, including within the framework of the OSCE session. As a strategic friend of Ukraine, Azerbaijan always supported our country," he said.
