Azerbaijan will adequately cope with the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), and the event will be held at a high level, the Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Sunak, said in a letter addressed to the participants of the 11th Global Baku Forum themed “Fixing the Fractured World,” Report informs.
The PM stressed that his country is ready to share the experience of COP26 with Azerbaijan: "The UK will be with Azerbaijan at COP29."
In his letter, Sunak also touched upon the energy policy in the world: "We understand the necessity of defining a fair energy policy. We will mobilize trillions of funds to eliminate climate change."
