UK minister says cooperation with Azerbaijan will expand

Azerbaijan and the UK cooperate in many areas, Minister for European Neighborhood and the Americas at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Wendy Morton said Feb. 9 at the reception by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

"I think, the point you have made about the bilateral relationship, and there are so many areas where we do work together. I am sure there will be a lot more in the future as well. At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the post-conflict situation, the application of the concept of ‘green energy’ in the territories liberated from occupation, the development of civil society, gender equality, energy, as well as on cooperation in the field of renewable energy.
