I congratulate Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, who won again in the elections held with high voter turnout in all the lands of Azerbaijan, including Karabakh, which was freed from occupation after 30 years, the former foreign minister of Türkiye, the head of the delegation of this country's parliament to NATO, Mevlut Cavusoglu, said on X, Report informs.
"Our Azerbaijani brothers will continue to win many victories under his leadership," Cavusoglu said.
Sinan Ogan, a former presidential candidate in Türkiye, originally from Azerbaijan, also congratulated President Ilham Aliyev: "I congratulate Ilham Aliyev, who won the presidential elections held in Azerbaijan today and was re-elected as the head of state. I wish that these important elections, which took place in Karabakh, liberated after 30 years of occupation, and in all Azerbaijani territories, including Eastern Zangazur, will be good for our brothers in Azerbaijan and the whole Turkic world."
Fuat Oktay, the former vice president of Türkiye, the chairman of the foreign relations committee of the parliament, also wished the elections to be successful for Azerbaijan: "I heartily congratulate Ilham Aliyev, who was re-elected president with 93.9% of votes according to the results of the exit-poll."
