Turkish Intelligence Chief: Peace between Azerbaijan, Armenia to lead to opening of Zangazur Corridor

The final peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is crucial for ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus, the head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalin stated during the Baku Security Conference, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.

The chief noted that Azerbaijan liberated Karabakh after the 44-day war, and now restoration and reconstruction efforts are underway.

Kalin highlighted that this peace agreement would also enable the opening of the Zangazur Corridor, linking the region through the Azerbaijan-Armenia-Nakhchivan-Türkiye-Europe route.
