"I thank Israel for its attention and support in preventing forest fires in Turkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus," Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, told a briefing after meeting with his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid, Report informs.
“Israel has decided to send two planes to extinguish the forest fire in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. We are expressing our thanks. Today, they asked if Turkiye needs a plane too. We will contact if we need. But we express our thanks for the offer,” Cavusoglu said.
