Report informs that the meeting of party officials took place within the framework of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The meeting emphasized that relations between the two peoples are based on historical traditions, common values, principles of friendship and brotherhood. It was noted that there have been close contacts between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in recent years and that there are wide opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the moral and political support of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is of great importance for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It was stated that deepening cooperation in the Turkic world is an important priority for both countries and the importance of the activities carried out in this regard was noted.
The importance of the signing of the trilateral Memorandum of Understanding between the New Azerbaijan Party, the Justice and Development Party, and the National Unity Party on November 14, 2023, was noted, and it was stated that the tasks ahead have been successfully implemented so far, and the importance of continuing purposeful joint activities was emphasized.
