Inclusive economic development, economic governance and climate change will be the main priorities of the Swiss cooperation program for the South Caucasus region for 2022-2025, Alberto Hernandez, a representative of the Swiss Cooperation Office for the South Caucasus, said at a press conference, Report informs.
He said that the budget of the program will be 80 million Swiss francs, 50 million of which will be directed to regional projects. This is while 10 million Swiss francs will be allocated for the implementation of bilateral projects in Azerbaijan's economic sector.
Hernandez noted that the new cooperation program takes into account the needs of Azerbaijan in the medium term and is aimed at promoting cooperation in the region, strengthening state institutions, improving economic development and creating more jobs, increasing resilience to climate change and sustainable resource management.
