The pandemic has definitely rendered many things more difficult in private and public life, Udo Steinbach, professor at the German University of Marburg, told Report, commenting on the policy of the EU countries and Azerbaijan to prevent the COVID pandemic.
It applies to EU countries, as well as to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, and Turkey, he said.
"In this respect, the EU is in a situation close to chaos, as each member country is keen to take care of its own citizens," he noted. "The longer the crisis drags on, the greater the likelihood that the world will be different from what all of us have experienced in the past. As for the situation in the South Caucasus and the relationship between the EU and Azerbaijan, it is, at the moment, hard to predict the political impact on both sides and their relationship," Steinbach noted.
