"Russia has not achieved the strategic victories it expected in the first 100 days of the war. One of them was the occupation of Ukraine, either whole or at least half of the country. In addition, they did not achieve even tactical goals," a special envoy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Fedir Venislavsky, told Report.
Venislavsky believes that these 100 days can be considered a change in the understanding of modern collective security in the world: "Because it is clear that the Russian Federation has completely destroyed the existing collective security system that emerged after the Second World War."
Venislavsky noted that now all Western countries and civilized states are thinking about building a collective security system: "The second thing demonstrated by the 100-day war is that many myths have already been dispersed. For example, I think that the myth that Russia has the second most powerful army in the world has been completely dispelled: at least for many decades. According to international expert organizations, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are in the top ten in the world in terms of security and defence forces. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have demonstrated that they can resist the Russian army for 100 days. The Russian military has shown that it is waging a war based on World War II templates. Moreover, the Russian Federation does not demonstrate innovations or new methods of warfare in military operations. However, it tirelessly uses its power, resources, human resources, and techniques so that its propagandists can bring arguments of a "victory." However, Russia has not achieved the strategic victories it had envisioned in the early days of the war in the past 100 days. One of them was the occupation of Ukraine, either whole or at least half of the country. In addition, Russia did not even achieve its tactical goals. Here it is about Russia's ability to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions."
The special envoy of the President of Ukraine stressed that 100 days is the history of Mariupol, Kharkiv, Sievierodonetsk, and many other Ukrainian cities.
"These cities have demonstrated that all the expectations of the Russian military-political leadership regarding the creation or revival of the Russian world in the regions, including the territories of Ukraine, are another myth. Russia is virtually isolated from the international community as a result of the crumbling of this myth. Its allies are several authoritarian regimes. The whole civilized world understands that Russia is a state where constructive, civil dialogue is impossible. Therefore, 100 days of the war showed the strength of the national spirit of the Ukrainian people and nation. The Ukrainian nation is united in the struggle against the Russian Federation. These 100 days have shown that Russia has already lost. After that, we will see how Russia will end its existence in the current format of statehood," he added.
