Speaker of Kyrgyz Parliament pays tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani martyrs

A delegation led by Speaker of the Parliament (Jogorku Kenesh) of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, architect and founder of the modern and independent Azerbaijani state, and laid a wreath at the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.

The Kyrgyz delegation then visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity. They also laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.

The delegation also enjoyed a panoramic view of Baku as they were informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the redevelopment works carried out in the city.
