Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova spoke on the military-political provocations of Armenia at a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of States Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS), Report informs, citing the Public Relations and Press Department of the Milli Majlis.

According to her, Armenia is clearly abusing the presence of the EU mission in this country and deliberately increasing tension in the region: "Armenian armed forces and illegal Armenian armed groups continue to violate the ceasefire along the Azerbaijani-Armenian border and in the territories temporarily controlled by the Russian peacekeeping contingent, which claims lives.
The Parliament speaker noted that three days ago, Armenia committed another military provocation on the border, as a result of which three Azerbaijani servicemen were killed.
Sahiba Gafarova added that a few days ago, Armenia detained two Azerbaijani servicemen who went missing at the border: "Images of ill-treatment of Azerbaijani servicemen have been circulated on social networks. International organizations should investigate this fact and give it a proper assessment."
