The heart of the Czech Republic, Prague, recently bore witness to a deeply moving two-day photo exhibition dedicated to the countless lives shattered by landmines in Azerbaijan.
According to Report, organized by the Gilavar Foto Klubu public association, with financial support from the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of Azerbaijan and the Czech-based Land of Fire organization, the exhibition aimed to raise awareness and support the prevention of further mine casualties.
Rashad Mehdiyev, the project manager, emphasized the exhibition's impact, stating that thousands of visitors gained detailed insights into the ongoing mine terrorism that continues to plague Azerbaijan. Each image bearing information about the individual mine victim, their lives forever altered by Armenian-laid explosives.
This poignant photo exhibition formed part of the larger "CulMINEtion of Danger" photo project, a powerful initiative to shed light on the devastating consequences of landmines. The event was attended by representatives from the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Czech Republic, underscoring the importance of international solidarity in addressing this pressing issue.
