On June 7, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, Boris Kollar, within the framework of his business trip to the Slovak Republic, Report informs, citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, the intention of Slovak companies and investors to participate in joint investment, restoration and construction projects in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur Economic Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan was highly appreciated.
Minister Bayramov informed the other side about the process of normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the steps taken by Azerbaijan in the direction of advancing the peace agenda, and the military and political provocations of Armenia that undermine the peace process. He spoke about the intensive steps taken by Azerbaijan in the direction of rehabilitation and reconstruction of the territories affected by the conflict, as well as the reintegration of the population.
Speaker Boris Kollar expressed his readiness to fully support the further development of Azerbaijan-Slovakia relations.
The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
