Secretaries of OTS Security Councils discuss regional situation, establish working group

The secretaries of the National Security Councils of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) discussed regional and global security issues, as well as the latest events, at the 2nd meeting in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, Report informs.

The Secretary of the Security Council, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov, represented Azerbaijan at the meeting.

The meeting discussed the security measures to be implemented in the member countries of the organization.

The parties discussed in detail the possible effects of some regional and international issues on the Turkic world, along with the current security threats and challenges targeting the OTS countries.

At the meeting, they agreed to establish a working group and develop a road map for the implementation of the decisions taken by the institution.
