Azerbaijan's Presidential Administration Head and Chairman of the COP29 Organizing Committee Samir Nuriyev met with a delegation led by UN-Habitat Executive Director Anaclaudia Rossbach, who is visiting Baku for COP29.
Report informs that, during the meeting, Rossbach congratulated Azerbaijan on the high level of organization of COP29.
Nuriyev hailed the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and UN-Habitat, noting the inclusion of urbanization in the COP29 agenda. He emphasized the significance of National Urban Forums held in Aghdam and Zangilan, as well as World Habitat Day events in Baku.
The parties discussed preparations for the 13th World Urban Forum to be held in Baku in 2026, which demonstrates the effective partnership between Azerbaijan and UN-Habitat.
