Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijani cooperation has risen to the level of strategic partnership, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, said at the meeting of the First Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan in a limited format held in Bishkek, Report informs.
According to Japarov, the friendship of the Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani peoples is based on long-term, reliable and sincere relations that have stood the test of time and history.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized that the state visit of the President of Azerbaijan demonstrates the true strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries.
“This year, our countries celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation. In three months, there will be the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries. We are approaching this date with good results. Our cooperation has risen to the level of strategic partnership,” the Kyrgyz president said.
