Russian Foreign Ministry: Signing of declaration brought Azerbaijan-Russia relations to new level

The signing of a declaration on allied cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia brought bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level, reads the commentary of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the main foreign policy results of 2022, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

During the year Moscow contributed to the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan: “Russia contributed to the comprehensive normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, the unblocking of transport communications, the delimitation of the border, the harmonization of a peace treaty and the solution of humanitarian problems.”

On February 22, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia, Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin, signed the Declaration on Allied Cooperation. The document contains more than 40 points on the widest range of interaction.
