Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said at Baku briefing answering question of Report.
Lavrov noted that such ministerial meetings in the regional format are relevant if they have their own substance.
He recalled that, for example, the format at the ministerial level Russia-Turkey-Iran is active in the issue of settlement in Syria.
In turn, answering the question, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said that there are opportunities for expanding such a regional format.
In this regard, he announced meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan - Pakistan - Turkey in Baku on November 30.
