Russian foreign minister says relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are extremely trustworthy

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov described relations between Russia and Azerbaijan as extremely trustworthy.

"I value them very highly, they are trustworthy," Lavrov said at a press conference in Moscow, responding to Report's question.

"The presidents communicate regularly, and there are no closed topics whatsoever. Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev have established work to encourage governments to search for new mutually beneficial projects. This includes the North-South corridor and other transport projects in and around the Caucasus. This also concerns, of course, the issue of the Caspian Sea's shallowing," said Lavrov.
