Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin visited the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow to pay tribute to the victims of the tragic plane crash near the Kazakh city of Aktau.
According to Report's Russian bureau, Ambassador Rahman Mustafayev received Galuzin at the embassy, where the Russian diplomat left an entry in the book of condolences.
The Embraer aircraft, operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, en route from Baku to Grozny on December 25, crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan. The plane carried 62 passengers, including 37 Azerbaijani citizens, 16 Russians, 6 Kazakhs, and 3 Kyrgyz nationals, along with five crew members. The devastating incident claimed the lives of 38 passengers, while 29 miraculously survived.
