Russia shares grief and pain of Azerbaijani friends, Russian deputy FM says

During a meeting with the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Moscow, Rahman Mustafayev, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin expressed his deepest condolences to the leadership of Azerbaijan and the brotherly Azerbaijani people in connection with the catastrophic crash of an AZAL passenger plane.

"First of all, on behalf of the leadership of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the leadership of Azerbaijan and the brotherly Azerbaijani people in connection with the crash of the AZAL passenger aircraft. Regrettably, as a result of this tragedy that affected all of us, the citizens of Azerbaijan, Russia, and several other countries have died. We share the grief and pain of our Azerbaijani friends. We are with you in this difficult time," he said.

According to Galuzin, the Russian side believes that before making any conclusions, it is necessary to wait for the results of the official investigation.
