Rinkevics says Latvia, Azerbaijan to deepen political, economic ties

Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics said he had held very cordial and substantive discussions with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, focusing on bilateral relations, regional security and energy issues, Report informs.

In a post on X, Rinkevics said Latvia and Azerbaijan, as strategic partners, would continue to develop close political and economic ties.

He also thanked Aliyev for the warm welcome.
