Ricardas Lapaitis: 'Armenians burned all the bridges of trust by such an act'

In front of the eyes of the whole world, Armenians are brutally beating a lost Azerbaijani soldier, Lithuanian expert, military journalist Ricardas Lapaitis said on his Facebook page, Report informs.

"The events of recent days make us think about many things," he said.

"We see a beaten young Azerbaijani soldier lie on the pavement and a civilian kick him in the face. Frankly, this causes a terrible disgust. Hundreds of jackals against one bound young soldier. There is nothing masculine, much less human," Lapaitis said.

The Lithuanian expert also expressed indignation at the burning of the Azerbaijani flag at the European Weightlifting Championships in Yerevan: “The Azerbaijani flag was set on fire at the opening ceremony of the European Championships in Yerevan. The arsonist is a certain Aram Nikolyan. Is this called the integration of Armenia into the European Union? By such behavior, Armenia should be friends only with Russia and Iran! With such an act, the Armenians burned all the bridges of trust and civilized solution of many issues. The international community should respond to this issue and give it a legal assessment."

According to a military journalist, this is perhaps the most shameful page in the history of modern sports: "The presidents of the World and European Weightlifting Federations were present at the ceremony. After such an incident, the competition should be canceled."
