Every day lost until the signing of the peace treaty brings Armenia closer to greater losses, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov, secretary of the Security Council of Azerbaijan, said in his article published in the official press, Report informs.

According to him, the Armenian people, the Republic of Armenia suffered and still suffer the greatest damage of the long-gone 'Nagorno-Karabakh conflict': "Adventurous leaders condemned the country to great deprivation and deep crisis. Political chaos, economic and social decline, corrupt state apparatus, crushed army and shameful defeat, finally, civil strife, mass migration abroad, and other such factors that reflect the tragedies of the Armenian people show that Armenia is on the verge of irreversible final bankruptcy. The increasing number of calls in the Armenian community to open a new chapter in their lives creates hope that this country will sincerely work for the immediate signing of the peace agreement."

Usubov also touched on one important point: "Every day lost until a peace treaty is signed brings this country closer to greater losses. Armenia needs to conclude the process of border delimitation and demarcation and sign the peace agreement. Azerbaijan has fully ensured its territorial integrity, our borders are completely under control, strategic positions that pose a threat to our country from the other side are under our comprehensive observation."
