Price: Armenia-Azerbaijan meeting soon to be held in Brussels

In the coming days, a meeting is planned with the participation of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Brussels, which will be held by the President of the European Council Charles Michel, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said at daily briefing, Report informs via Sputnik-Armenia.

Price noted that the US expects results from this meeting. And although the United States does not try to be overly optimistic about the Armenian-Azerbaijani talks, it tries to support them.

He added that the US is not trying to be too optimistic, but we continue to support this dialogue towards a comprehensive solution.

Earlier, in a statement following the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken noted significant progress in the negotiations over the past few months.

The US hopes to see this process continue, Price said.

A trilateral meeting with the participation Antony Blinken, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan was held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on February 18.
