Press Council clarifies rules on which Armenian journalists can visit Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Press Council clarified the rules on which Armenian media representatives can visit Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the Chairman of the Press Council, Rashad Majid, said at a briefing held at the ministry that if Armenian journalists want to visit Azerbaijan, there will be no problem in this field.

According to him, meetings of Azerbaijani and Armenian journalists were organized in Tbilisi at different times.

The chairman of the Press Council, who said that new conditions have been created after the liberation of our lands, noted that the door is open for Armenian journalists who want to come to Azerbaijan within the framework of Azerbaijani laws.

Aykhan Hajizada, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that during the international events held in Azerbaijan, journalists of Armenian origin are included in the foreign delegations: "It is one of the necessary factors that all visitors respect the laws of Azerbaijan. Positive steps are expected to be taken in this direction in the coming years."
