President Vucic invites Ilham Aliyev to participate in first Strategic Cooperation Council of two countries

Serbia and Azerbaijan discussed the current geopolitical situation, energy security issues, and the development of bilateral relations, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on his Instagram page following today's meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Belgrade.

Report informs that, according to him, special attention during the negotiations was paid to cooperation in the economy, military industry, and Azerbaijan's participation in EXPO27.

"We confirmed the exceptional relations between the two friendly countries and peoples, based on mutual respect and cooperation on key issues. I thanked Azerbaijan and the country's President Ilham Aliyev for respecting Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty. I also confirmed that our country can always be counted on as a sincere friend and responsible partner," Vucic wrote.

The Serbian President also invited Ilham Aliyev to visit his country to participate in the first Strategic Cooperation Council of the two countries.
