On August 21, the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic called the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.
During the telephone conversation, President Aleksandar Vucic conveyed his congratulations to his Azerbaijani counterpart on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia. The President of Serbia said that during this period, cooperation between the two countries in various fields has been successfully developed, and friendly and partnership relations have been established.
President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the President of Serbia on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and expressed his satisfaction with the development of cooperation in various fields. The head of the Azerbaijani state emphasized that Azerbaijan and Serbia are successfully cooperating on bilateral and multilateral basis, as well as within the framework of international organizations.
During the telephone conversation, the presidents exchanged views on the expansion of economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, cooperation in agriculture, energy, investment and other fields. It was also noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia have reached the level of strategic partnership, and the two countries support each other's territorial integrity.
