Stability in the South Caucasus is in the fundamental interests of all the states and peoples of the region, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a joint press briefing following talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs referring to AzerTac.

The Russian leader expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of his visit to Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that the discussions and agreements reached will further strengthen the strategic partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan.
