"It is a natural result of the numerous difficulties our countries faced before regaining their independence that Georgia and Azerbaijan not only remained friendly states, but these relations turned into a strategic partnership," the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, said in her letter addressed to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Report inform.
