“I'm sure the Memorandum of Cooperation between Exxon and SOCAR will result in a substantial project,” said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an interview with the Azerbaijani press in Washington, Report informs.
“There is a high probability of a big oil discovery in Azerbaijan,” the head of state emphasized.
Noting that Exxon has extensive experience working in Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev said: “We believe in the future of this project. If we didn't believe, we wouldn’t have participated in the signing ceremony.”
