Georgian political scientist: Irakli Kobakhidze's visit to Baku - indicator of high confidence in Azerbaijan

Irakli Kobakhidze's visit to Baku as the first among regional countries as Prime Minister is an indicator of Georgia's cooperation and strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, Georgian political scientist, professor Badri Nachkebia told Report.

“Our strategic partnership with Azerbaijan remains robust and continues to thrive. Following this meeting, we are assured that our relationship will advance to an unprecedented stage. It is imperative that we fortify these ties and provide mutual support across all areas and aspects,” the political analyst added.

Reflecting on the trilateral meeting in Baku involving the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye, Nachkebia expressed his conviction that the collaborative efforts among these nations will catalyze not only their individual progress but also propel the growth of the broader region in the ensuing years.

Commenting on the visit of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the political scientist emphasized that the head of the alliance demonstrated his support in terms of security by coming to the region.

According to him, the NATO official's visit to Yerevan will speed up the process towards the signing of the peace agreement, because the West is interested in establishing peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and NATO will contribute in this direction.
