Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with a Turkish delegation led by Ömer Kerkez, President of the Supreme Court of Appeals, Report informs referring to AzerTac.
During the meeting, the sides lauded the growing relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye across all domains, highlighting that under the leadership and joint efforts of Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, intergovernmental ties have reached the highest level of strategic partnership and alliance.
The parties also commended the cooperation between the judicial and legal bodies of both countries, emphasizing the importance of continuing collaboration both bilaterally and within international organizations. In this context, the establishment of the Conference of the Supreme Courts of Turkic States in Shusha last October was underscored as a significant milestone.
The discussions also touched on enhancing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in various fields, particularly within the judicial and legal spheres.
Inam Karimov, Chief Justice of Azerbaijan’s Supreme Court, also attended the meeting.
