Patriotic War martyrs' memory commemorated in Mexico

The memory of the martyrs of the 44-day Patriotic War of 2020 was commemorated in Mexico City, Mexico, Report informs, citing the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Mexico.

On the occasion of the Day of the Dead, which is considered one of the most significant national days of Mexico and is celebrated to commemorate the deceased people, a corner dedicated to the memory of heroes who died for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was created at the La Ermita Cultural Center located in Mexico City with the initiative of the Mexico City government and the support of the embassy. The corner was visited with interest by city residents for two days.

The commemorative corner with pictures of the martyred heroes contains features specific to both Azerbaijani and Mexican culture, along with local Mexican customs related to the Day of the Dead, and national ornaments belonging to Azerbaijani people were used.

Mammad Talibov, the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Mexico, who took part in the event, informed the participants about the Armenian aggression that Azerbaijan faced for many years and the bravery of our heroes during the Patriotic War.
