Pashinyan: Yerevan’s refusal to delimitate borders might lead to regional escalation

Armenia’s refusal to delimitate and subsequently demarcate borders with Azerbaijan might lead to a new escalation in the South Caucasus, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting with residents of the village of Kirants in the border Tavush province, Report informs.

“If we do not take these steps (delimitation and demarcation), I guarantee that there will be another explosion in our region,” he said.

According to Armenian media, Pashinyan also announced that a decision had been made to create a working group of representatives of local communities and to include heads of administrations in the work of commissions on border demarcation and delimitation.
