Pashinyan: We confirmed agreement on restoration of railway in Brussels meeting

At a trilateral meeting with the President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, we confirmed the agreement with the President of Azerbaijan on the restoration of the railway, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on his Facebook page, Report informs.

"Accordingly, the railway will operate on a reciprocal basis while fully respecting the sovereignty of all countries under internationally accepted border and customs regulations. Armenia will have access to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation by rail. We also agreed to continue contacts," Pashinyan wrote.

Note that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the European Council Charles Michel and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on December 14 in Brussels.
