Pashinyan’s spokesperson: "We hope that divergence of views between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be eliminated"

"The meeting in Vienna between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was fruitful," Armenian Prime Minister's spokesperson Vladimir Karapetyan said responding to the question from Western European bureau of Report.

"A number of agreements were earlier reached at the level of foreign ministers of the two countries. However, there were still some divergence of views on some issues during the meeting of the leaders. We believe that these issues will be resolved and we will continue the peace process. We are preparing our people for peace. If the Prime Minister addresses the parliament and emphasizes the importance of peace, this means that we want peace. The Prime Minister wants Armenian people to address directly the people of Azerbaijan," he noted.
