Participants in VIII Baku Forum discuss youth involvement in addressing global challenges

The seventh panel "Youth Speaks, We Listen" within the framework of the VIII Global Baku Forum was held.

As Report informs the panel was devoted to the topic of youth participation in solving global challenges, including in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gagauzia governor Irina Vlah noted that the pandemic has had a negative impact on the social and economic life of the population.

She said that the most important thing now is to invest in areas such as waste collection and recycling, vaccination of the population, the environment, and education of young people.

"We are strong only when we work together on common goals, and we have enough of them now, so let's work together," Irina Vlah urged.

The forum is attended by delegates from over 40 countries - former heads of states and governments, politicians, political experts, pundits, public figures, leaders, and representatives of international and non-governmental organizations.

The forum will run until November 6.
