Pakistani embassy expresses condolence to Azerbaijan 

Embassy of Pakistan in Azerbaijan has expressed condolences to Azerbaijan over the crash of a military helicopter of the State Border Service (SBS), Report informs, citing the embassy's Twitter account.

"We are saddened by the news of the tragic crash of the Azerbaijani helicopter resulting in loss of 14 fine young officers. May Allah bless the Shaheeds with a high status in Jannah. Our prayers for the grieving families and people of brotherly Azerbaijan," the tweet said.

A military helicopter of the State Border Service crashed during training flights at the Garaheybat Training Centre in the Khizi district. As a result of the accident, 14 officers were killed, and 2 others were injured.

The Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case under Article 352.2 of the Criminal Code (Violation of the rules of flight or preparation for flight, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence) and other articles. The investigation of the criminal case has been taken under exceptional control by the Prosecutor General.
