Pashinyan says 'determined to sign peace treaty with Azerbaijan'

Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has voiced determination to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, Report informs, referring to the Armenian press.

The PM said he expressed his position on this in parliament:

"However, this should not be a document equal to capitulation for Armenia. This should be a real and lasting peace document for our region. I am ready to bear this responsibility for the sake of peace, stability, and regional and international cooperation."

Pashinyan said there is a specific mandate over the peace agenda:

"We have focused on the implementation of this mandate. And we need the support of the international community and the peoples of the region."
