OIC delegation starts visit to Ganja

A delegation of experts led by the chairman of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (IPHRC OIC) has begun visiting Ganja.

According to Report's Western Center, a five-member OIC delegation toured the areas destroyed by the rocket fire of Ganja by the Armenian armed forces during the Patriotic War.

The guests prayed for the souls of the dead and laid flowers at the site.

Chairman of the IPHRC Saeed Mohamed Abdullah Omair Alghfeli, Deputy Chairman Achikgul Haji Ali, Director of the Commission Secretariat Javed Saglain, and Executive Director of the Commission Secretariat Butt Marghoob Saleem are on an official visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Ombudswoman Sabina Aliyeva to carry out a joint fact-finding mission in the areas far from the scene of the military operations, where civilians and civilian infrastructures came under missile attacks.
