Official Tehran: Relative success has been achieved in Iran-Azerbaijan talks

The three telephone conversations held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, is a positive event that leads out of the current situation, helps reduce the tension between the two countries, and take a common approach to the steps already taken, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanani said while addressing reporters in his weekly presser on Monday, Report informs, citing Mehr.

He said that official Tehran used a political-diplomatic approach in managing relations, and fortunately, relative success was achieved in this process.

“We hope to eliminate the problems and misunderstandings and turn the relations between the two countries based on the good neighborly policy into a natural and beneficial process,” he said.

According to him, Iran will continue its efforts in this regard.
