Numan Kurtulmus says they will have serious meetings to develop ties between two countries' ruling parties

The fraternal ties between the two countries continue today, Numan Kurtulmus, the first deputy chairman of Turkey's Justice and Development Party, said, speaking before the monument to Turkish martyrs.

He noted that the Turkish state and people have been next to their Azerbaijani brothers during the 44-day victory.

"Ilham Aliyev's determined position and strong army have made it possible to liberate Karabakh. It was also necessary to develop relations between the political parties of the two countries," he said.

Kurtulmus added that a conference on how to develop shared cultural values would take place in Ganja.

"As part of the visit, we will have serious meetings to develop ties between the two political parties (Turkey's Justice and Development Party and Azerbaijan's New Azerbaijan Party)," Kurtulmus said.
