All French colonies should declare their independence on the same day, Eugene Tetuanui, secretary of the NCMCP association of New Caledonia, said at the international conference "Colonialism: Erasing Religious-National Identity" held in Baku, Report informs.
In this regard, he appealed to all overseas territories of France:
"With such conferences currently being held in Baku, we must take an exemplary stand against threats. Things must be done to achieve our goals. Currently, our children are dying, our parents are in a bad situation. The colonialists are treating us badly."
According to the representative of New Caledonia, all overseas territories of France should declare their independence on the same day: "Only in this case can we achieve results."
