Today’s visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Lithuania will give even more positive dynamics to the expansion of cooperation between Lithuania and Azerbaijan, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said in a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.
“A year ago, during my visit to Azerbaijan, we started fruitful negotiations on cooperation. Then, during the negotiations, we expressed hope for the further development of contacts in the economic and educational spheres,” he said.
He reminded that today Ilham Aliyev will take part in the opening of the second Lithuanian-Azerbaijani business forum, which will create more opportunities for the development of economic cooperation between the countries.
