The entire Muslim world is closely following the events taking place in the Middle East today. In this context, Türkiye and Israel's choice of Azerbaijan to discuss issues related to Syria is an indicator of the successful and wise policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev, MP Jeyhun Mammadov said at today's plenary session of the parliament, Report informs.
He noted that the latest developments have once again shown that Azerbaijan has correctly and successfully developed its relations with Israel.
"The development of relations with both Türkiye and Israel by Azerbaijan in the current period is of particular importance. One of the most important issues here is the importance that Azerbaijan attaches to relations with the Turkic states," the MP said.
The MP noted that Azerbaijan played an important role in integrating Northern Cyprus into the ranks of the Turkic states and obtaining status in the Organization of Turkic States.
