Mishustin: Russia values long-term partnership with Azerbaijan

“We value our long-term partnership with Azerbaijan. We consider it important to bring them to a higher level, fill them with new content. In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, we didn’t allow a significant reduction in trade, and this year we increased it by almost 3.5 percent,” Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

Mishustin stressed that the statements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia, adopted after the end of the hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, opened up opportunities for a more comprehensive development of the region: “I am convinced that unblocking economic and transport links, creating new infrastructure routes meet the interests of all states of the South Caucasus.”
